Pickleball in Piqua, Ohio

Pitsenbarger Sports Complex has three public pickleball courts for casual outdoor games, and The Pickleball Plex offers 24/7 indoor access, open play, lessons, clinics, and private court rentals.   The 67-acre city sports complex has three pickleball courts along with four tennis courts, ball fields, soccer fields, restrooms, and parking. The park is open from 7:00 AM to dusk. City rules also allow play on lighted tennis and pickleball courts later in the evening, with no new game period starting after 10:30 PM.   The Pickleball Plex is a dedicated indoor pickleball facility with 24/7 access for court rentals. It offers organized open play for all skill levels, Intro to Pickleball classes, private and small-group lessons, clinics, and private events. Open play registration is handled through CourtReserve. New to Pickleball?

New players should start with the Intro to Pickleball class at The Pickleball Plex. Classes are limited to four players, so beginners spend the full session learning and playing on court. Loaner paddles and balls are available for newcomers. See beginner lesson and equipment information.

After learning the basics, open play at the same facility gives beginners a simple next step for meeting other players. Players looking for additional individual instruction can also use the Coaches section.

Open Play and Local Programs

The Pickleball Plex provides Piqua's clearest recurring organized play. Open play sessions are offered for different skill levels, and players register through CourtReserve.
